EXHIBIT SPACE DESIGN
A fictitious art exhibition at the SCAD Museum of Art will feature Saul Steinberg’s work, however there is no branding identity in place. Originally a partnered effort with Parth Kansara, the final outcomes of this project are an exhibit title, logo, visuals of the exhibit, website, and supplemental products/items.
Saul Steinberg (1914-1999) was a Romanian-born American artist best known for his distinctive drawings, cartoons, and illustrations that often appeared in The New Yorker magazine. Throughout his career, Steinberg’s work transcended traditional boundaries, blending high art with popular culture and challenging viewers to reconsider their perceptions of the world around them.
Exhibit Space Design
With the goal of keeping the identity minimalistic, lines were used to create visual interest and movement that reflected his drawings. A main concept component to the project was keeping a more monochromatic color scheme with small amounts of pops of color coming from one of his more famous-colored illustrations.
