A fictitious fashion exhibit named “Couture Beyond” is planning to open but needs captivating posters and visuals to draw in the crowd. The deliverables are a set of 4 poster designs, that vary in size and placement that capture the detail, beauty, and essence of Guo Pei’s Designs.
Guo Pei is a renowned Chinese fashion designer celebrated for her intricate and opulent creations. Growing up during China’s cultural revolution, she found solace and inspiration in the vibrant colors and intricate designs of traditional Chinese garments.
Known for her impeccable craftsmanship and attention to detail, Guo Pei’s designs often draw inspiration from Chinese mythology, history, and culture, showcasing a harmonious blend of tradition and innovation.
With the idea of illustrations in mind, interpreting her work into what could be “concept sketches” or colored refinements using a watercolor like technique would bring a more subtle, welcoming, humanistic approach and appeal to the audience.
