PACKAGE DESIGN
The luxurious, fictitious chocolate brand, Choco Louvre, is looking for branding, product design and packaging. They want to incorporate different aspects of both the Museum & France’s well-known aesthetics and imagery to influence the design decisions of both the packaging and the product themselves.
Chocolate was introduced to France by the Spanish Princess, Anne of Austria, when she married King Louis XIII of France. Initially, chocolate was a luxury item enjoyed by the aristocracy. By the 19th century the first chocolate shops were built in Paris.
Choco Louvre was founded on the principles of purity, artistry, and exclusivity. They meticulously source their ingredients ensuring only the finest cacao beans are used. As the brand name suggests the designs and artisan aspects of the chocolate is inspired from the Louvre Museum in Paris.
This simplistic approach used in the right way creates an interesting, tasteful and not an overwhelming brand image.
Choco Louvre prides themselves on having chocolate picture frames that feature famous works of art, with different preserves and honey for sensational flavor pairings.
